The Brief: The Clean Recycling Initiative aims to raise awareness about the impact of textile waste and promote the benefits of Clean Recycling methods.

The Concept: The Stitching a Sustainable Future campaign aims to educate the public on the environmental impact of textile waste and overconsumption and provides individuals with resources to help them reduce their own textile waste. The campaign encourages consumers to ‘Rethink their Style’, by buying less and making their clothes last longer by re-wearing and repairing.

By promoting change and action on an individual level, the campaign is a step in the right direction towards eliminating textile waste globally. The campaign aims to build a community of people working together to create a better future.

The campaign’s imagery features handcrafted type made from different recycled textiles.

The Outcome: The campaign features a variety of touchpoints including 3 x posters/ signage, a mobile app and social media content. The app aims to become a useful resource where users can find advice on reducing their textile waste and learn more about the Clean Recycling Initiative. Social media will also include a variety of content that will support and educate people on their sustainability journey.
